You can rent, free of charge, snow shoes for your hikes at the reception. Valdaora and its surrounding is a paradise for winter hikes. A tour in the Dolomites, which belongs to the UNESCO world natural heritage, is certainly a spectacular experience.

Whether you want to ride through snowy forests or to race over snow covered fields: In and around Olang/Valdaora, there’s a wealth of tobogganing options.

E. g.: the Brunstalm approx. 7 km long or the Angerer Alm or Trattes Alm with about 3 km. The Kronplatz has a large offer of excellent sledging tracks.

And here’s an even more special adventure: full-moon sledging!

We belong to the newly founded organisation „Dolomiti Nordic Ski“, European’s biggest cross-country ski trail system, which today already comprises about 1,000 km cross-country ski runs in South Tyrol. We are the heart of the region. We have about 180 km of cross-country ski runs in our region – a long way to go!
Especially we recommend you the slopes of Val Anterselva / Antholz, Val Casies / Gsiesertal and Dobbiaco / Toblach. You can also cross the Lake Anterselva or go around the Lake Toblach with your cross-county skies. Enjoy the nature.

The choice of slopes and tracks around the "Südtirol Arena Alto Adige" cross-country skiing and biathlon centre is considerable and offers all levels of difficulty. The centre can be used during both summer and winter. The Anterselva-Antholz cross-country skiing and biathlon school offers a number of courses and lessons for all levels.
